Již po jednadvacáté Armin van Buuren uzavírá rok ve velkém stylu svým každoročním „A State of Trance Year Mix“. Tímto mixem reflektuje uplynulý rok nejen v žánru trance, ale i mimo něj. A k letošnímu mixu přistupuje jinak. Například legendární producent Moby (se kterým Armin spolupracoval jen pár týdnů zpátky) propůjčil svůj hlas úvodu mixu a vybízí posluchače, aby se vymanili z vlastních bariér a přijali nekonečný potenciál cesty, která je před nimi.

S celkem 113 skladbami nabízí tento výroční mix posluchačům nejobsáhlejší ohlédnutí za rokem 2024. Nechybí zde producentská jména jako Estiva, Above & Beyond, David Guetta, Paul van Dyk, Laura van Dam, Joris Voorn, Cosmic Gate, Gabry Ponte a mnoho dalších.

„Za ta léta jsem zjistil, že žánrové štítky běžně používané k zařazení hudby pro mě nefungují“ říká Armin van Buuren. „Důležité je, jaký zvuk a atmosféru hudba ztělesňuje. Její duši, dalo by se říct. Proto bych všem, kdo milují hudbu, doporučil zbourat tyto bariéry a přijmout, že různé styly mohou být navzájem velmi doplňující. A doufám, že tento A State of Trance Year Mix 2024 to dokazuje!“

K tomu Moby dodal:
